Haiku poem:

In the twilight rain

these brilliant-hued hibiscus...

A lovely sunset

Based on the Haiku poem, I choose three key themes: Circle, Parallel and Random.

According to these three words, I drew a lot of sketches and decided to choose one from "Random".

When improving the picture, I thought of Mondrian's painting,

Composition with Red Blue and Yellow, which inspired me a lot.

The poster I made looks abstract, I only use rectangle in this poster and all of them are touching each other. There are different sizes and shapes of rectangles to present the picture of the poem in my mind, flowers blooming on a rainy evening.

( I developed the poster on Adobe Illustrator

and choose the final poster then draw it on paper

because I think it is convenient to draw and change

the pattern on Adobe Illustrator and the visual effect is more intuitive.)
